Office of International Affairs successfully organized the 1st Thai Cultural Learning Project to provide international students our beginning Thai culture, traditions, and etiquette inclusive of cross-cultural communication for better understanding and life adaptation divided into 2 sessions: August 1 – 2, 2017, 08.00 a.m. – 04.00 p.m. for international students and August 3 - 4, 2017, 08.00 a.m. – 04.00 p.m. for Chinese students at Class room, 6th Fl., Navamindradhiraj Building. NIDA’s Thai and international students with total number of 12 participants were invited to join the event for sharing knowledge and experiences.

 

 

 

International Outing 2017 was held on July 15, 2017 for International students hosted by Office of International Affairs to experience our Former King Rama 9th’s Royal Development Project and Thai exquisite culture by visiting Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Center and Baan Mai Riverside Market. 

 

 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanokkarn Kaewnuch, Assistant to President for International Affairs together with Dr. Asda Chintakananda, lecturer at Graduate School of Business Administration and OIA team officially hosted International Student Farewell Reception for 1) Dr. Gunjidmaa Batsuuri 2) Mr. Vinodh Gopal Dhullipatti 3) Ms. Sishi Liu 4) Mr. Xiaowen Mo, NIDA graduated students, Graduated School of Public Administration, Graduate School of Business Administration, Graduate School of Language and Communication and International College of NIDA from Mongolia, India and China respectively. The event was held on January 27, 2017 and activities on that day included the warmest congratulated welcome ceremony and a lunch reception at the Meeting Room 805, 8th floor, Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building.

 

NIDA President and Administrators welcomed the ambassador and representatives from the embassies in Bangkok namely, H.E. Mr. Hazem Elsayed Badawy Eltahryfrom The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Mr. Kabiru Balafrom The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Ms. Jill Lai from Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand; Mr. Bohdan Movchan from The Embassy of Ukraine; Mr. Pho Hoang Han from The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Dr. Georg Verweyenfrom DAAD Information Center; Miss Jaruwan Jaranupongand Miss Jantawan Wiwattanapusit from Taiwan Education Center, Thailand, and international students of NIDA for joining the “International Night 2017”. The event took place on Tuesday 28thFebruary 2017 at Pattanatara Aquatic Garden.  

 

On Friday 10 February 2017, OIA held “St. Valentine’s Day 2017” for international students to do the activity for the society together. This year, the activity is about love and knowledge (foreign language) sharing to the students at Prommitpittaya School, Bangkok. They designed many activities, for example, teaching and playing games, to encourage them to use foreign language with native speaker. There are nine Thai and international students from different schools attended this activity.
